Anti Aging
Wrinkle Treatment
More and more patients are realizing that anti-aging creams do not deliver their promised results. Applying these anti-wrinkle creams merely leads to a short-term plumping of the uppermost layer of the skin and is simply an attempt to hydrate it. The depth of penetration is always limited, and the moisture evaporates so quickly that a lasting reduction of wrinkles cannot be guaranteed.
A long-lasting and effective smoothing of wrinkles is best achieved through professional injections of botulinum toxin or hyaluronic acid, administered in sufficient quantities and at the optimal depth. This method represents the premier alternative in non-surgical wrinkle therapy. To minimize discomfort during the procedure, we apply a medical numbing gel. Alternatively or additionally, any treated area can be completely numbed for 1–2 hours upon request through targeted injections of a local anesthetic.
Wrinkle Injection with Botulinum Toxin
Wrinkle smoothing occurs indirectly by relaxing unwanted muscle activity. Using an extremely fine needle, a few highly effective drops of a highly diluted solution are precisely injected into the targeted muscle. The necessary injections of botulinum toxin A into the problem areas are virtually painless.
The medical dosage and injection intervals are determined individually and correspond to the medical indication. For medical reasons and to prevent resistance, the interval between injections should not be less than 12 weeks.
Initial results are visible within 10 days: the skin appears smoother, and lines and wrinkles fade. Your natural facial expression is fully preserved, as a certain degree of facial mimicry remains possible. The full effect typically sets in after 14 days and lasts an average of 5 months. Muscle relaxation for wrinkle reduction can safely be repeated multiple times and seamlessly combined with dermal fillers using hyaluronic acid.
Wrinkle Volumizing with Hyaluronic Acid
Wrinkle injections offer a non-surgical alternative to wrinkle removal. Hyaluronic acid is injected beneath the wrinkles to plump them up, or used for volume enhancement, such as defining the cheekbones. This natural substance, which is inherently present in our connective tissue, plays a crucial role in binding moisture.
Hyaluronic acid provides the skin with volume, resulting in a vital and smooth appearance. However, the skin undergoes a natural aging process: its natural hyaluronic acid content decreases, connective tissue fibers diminish, and elasticity is lost. The consequences are skin aging, wrinkle formation, and a loss of elasticity and firmness.
Injecting hyaluronic acid replenishes the skin’s moisture reservoirs. Allergic reactions to the injection are extremely rare. We use specially cross-linked hyaluronic acids in gel form, produced by renowned manufacturers and exceptionally well tolerated. The injections are performed using fine needles and cannulas. A numbing cream is usually sufficient, but can be supplemented with a local anesthetic upon request.
